About the Department

The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology focuses on women’s health, pregnancy, childbirth and reproductive medicine. It is a major clinical subject in MBBS and prepares students to understand maternal care and gynecological conditions.

Course Details

The course includes antenatal care, normal labor, complicated pregnancy, delivery, postnatal care, menstrual disorders, infertility, family planning, gynecological infections and tumors. Students participate in clinical postings, case presentations and ward-based learning.
