About the Department

The Department of Internal Medicine trains students in diagnosis and management of adult diseases. It is one of the major clinical departments in the MBBS program. Students learn patient history taking, physical examination, clinical reasoning and treatment planning.

Course Details

The course includes cardiology, pulmonology, gastroenterology, nephrology, endocrinology, neurology basics, hematology, infectious diseases and emergency medicine. Students attend clinical rotations, bedside teaching, case presentations, ward rounds and outpatient department training.
