About the Department

The Department of Forensic Medicine connects medical knowledge with law, ethics and medico-legal responsibilities. It trains students to understand injury reports, death investigation, toxicology and legal duties of doctors.

Course Details

The course includes medical ethics, legal procedures, wound examination, postmortem basics, toxicology, poisoning, identification, sexual offences, medical negligence and medico-legal documentation. Students learn how doctors prepare reports for legal and administrative purposes.
